Since 2016, the Pristine Survey has pushed our understanding of the early Universe by discovering the most metal-poor stars of the Milky Way and its surroundings. By analysing the most pristine stars, we can learn about the initial mass function and yields of the "First Stars" (zero metallicity) and crucial information on the earliest buildup of the proto-galaxy that would later become the Milky Way, including their satellites.

One significant milestone for the Pristine project is the Memorandum of Understanding with the WEAVE survey, which, starting this spring, will follow up spectroscopically all of the most metal-poor candidates detected by Pristine. This year, the Pristine Science Meeting is framed to orient the collaboration towards getting prepared for WEAVE: documenting catalogues and organising the team for a quick analysis of the first WEAVE data.

The Bibliotheque of the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, the Lagrange Laboratory and the complete OCA scientific community will provide a collaborative space to showcase the work in progress and latest results for leveraging the Pristine dataset, coordinate future team strategies, and foster collaboration among team members.

This meeting is financially supported by the Axe Stratégique Galaxies et Cosmologie of the Lagrange Laboratoire and PNCG (through its support to WEAVE).
